Wine: 2008 Corton
Producer: Domaine Bonneau du Martray
Comment: A ripe, earthy and exceptionally fresh nose of plum and black cherries that precedes equally ripe, rich and impressively scaled flavors that are balanced, pure and serious on the moderately austere and hugely long finish. This is filled with both plenty of dry extract and energy and you can easily sense the tension and vibrancy running through the wine. This should be terrific in time but note that plenty of it will be required.
