Integration or access to content using computer integration (Web Crawlers, Spiders, Robots, etc.) designed to integrate/download the information in the database is strictly prohibited. All who infringe, including non-subscribers, will be pursued using all legal remedies. Subscribers in the news media and wine trade may use limited wine reviews provided that Burghound.com is properly credited.
To clarify, "sharing" of subscriptions is expressly prohibited. Burghound.com retains the right at any time, without notice, to change the current electronic delivery system to be in a "read" only format so issues cannot be forwarded to others, with no partial or full refund of subscription fees. Readers are reminded that the flow of revenues is the life blood of any business, from the biggest to the very modest but this is particularly true for start ups and the very small. It has come to our attention that there is a troubling amount of unauthorized sharing of Burghound.com content and there is evidence to suggest that the problem continues to worsen. While we are sincerely flattered that some people feel that Burghound.com material is worthy of being shared with friends and associates, doing so ultimately compromises our ability to bring the best that Burgundy offers to you as no business survives in the long run without just compensation for value provided. Thus we are reminding readers of pertinent copyright laws and to not share issues of Burghound.com - or user names/passwords. We understand that it is a fine line between the well-intentioned, one-time distribution of copyright protected material such as one issue with a friend and the willful, and unlawful, distribution of it to third parties to avoid the payment of monies rightfully due the author. As stated on the cover of each issue, subscribers in the media and wine trade sources may use limited portions of this material provided that Burghound.com is properly credited. We very much appreciate your consideration and understanding in this regard and thank you in advance for your continued support.
