Burghound.com® - The Burgundy of the Week
Producer: Maison Louis Jadot (Beaune) Comment: Lovely aromas of white flower, citrus and a deft touch of oak combine seamlessly with full, rich, rounded, light to medium weight flavors of good distinction and which display better than average acid balance. The finish is nicely rich and acceptably long for its class and it is clean and bright in the best sense, e.g. not sterile. No one is going to mistake this for Corton-Charlemagne but this is a very nice wine for the money and worth buying by the case for casual lunches and even for an aperitif. Try a bottle and I think you'll agree for yourself. Enjoyable now though better in a year. 86/2003-6 U.S. Importer: Kobrand Corporation, New York, NY Suggested Price: $14.95 (this can be found for around $11 when discounted) Important Note: Burghound.com has no financial relationship of any kind with Maison Jadot or with Kobrand Corporation.
